The ACPA22 Convention Team, ACPA Governing Board, Entity Leadership, and International Office are committed to a Convention centering attendees’ experience, focusing on skill and knowledge development as professionals, and advancing our collective work towards Racial Justice and Decolonization. The ACPA22 experience will provide intentional space focused on wellness, with opportunities to convene, connect, and cultivate.

The ACPA22 team is excited to offer special tracks in relation to the work of the association on the Strategic Imperative for Racial Justice and Decolonization as well as ongoing priorities in higher education for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs), and other Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs). Additionally, ACPA22 will offer a special track for sessions that specifically focus on policy development/changes taking place in higher education/on your campus and their impact on practice. We encourage you to submit proposals with these foci and indicate as such in the program proposal submission form.

To shape a high-quality learning experience, the #ACPA22 Program Team needs diverse program proposals about best practices and initiatives in higher education.

Proposal Resources

The ACPA22 Program team is developing resources to assist as you prepare your educational session submission. These resources include a program proposal worksheet – a form one can build out a program proposal before entering it into the portal, the rubrics used to review program submissions, a how-to submit a proposal presentation, and sample proposals you can review while developing your proposal.

Serve as a Program Reviewer

To shape a high-quality learning experience, the #ACPA22 Program Team needs a diverse team of reviewers from all functional areas of higher education, tertiary education, and student affairs and services. Representation is needed from all career levels, including graduate and entry, mid and senior-level professionals, as well as faculty and career adjacent professionals.. ACPA members of color, native or indigenous, trans members, women, members with disabilities, and members with other minoritized or historically-marginalized identities are encouraged to participate as program proposal reviewers.
