Louisville Metro Government Earns Energy Star Partner of the Year Award
The Louisville Metro Government received an Energy Star Partner of the Year Award in 2010 for its efforts to become more efficient. Louisville Metro has an extensive recycling and waste diversion program, ranking ninth (9th) on the latest Sustain Lane sustainability rankings of 50 largest U.S. cities. The city operates free trolleys on Fourth Street and on Main and Market.
