The city of Columbus, Ohio currently has a 10% occupancy Tax applied to all sleeping rooms. 6% of the tax goes to the city, 4% goes to the county. This is in addition to the 6.75% state of Ohio sales tax. Convention attendees should anticipate paying 16.75% in taxes on top of hotel rates.

The Hyatt, Crowne Plaza, and Hilton have accessible access to the Convention Center via indoor walkways. The Drury Inn is connected to the Convention Center via a walkway that is not wheelchair accessible. The Red Roof Inn and the Renaissance are not connected to the Convention Center, with the Renaissance being the furthest from the Convention Center.
