Career Development

In Chicago we will further understand, unpack, and celebrate our history and future as an association; we will work to identify clear, sustainable paths forward that elevate personal and professional career wellness and advancement to actualize our mission to boldly transform higher education. Entering our 100th anniversary of the association, the ACPA24 team continues to center the sustainable evolution and growth of Career Wellness at convention through the sharing of emergent trends and identifying spaces to reflect as individuals and a community through:

  • Sharing and developing new resources to equip supervisors and job seekers with real-time antidotes to resisting supremacy culture on our campuses and in our job seeking.
  • Identified learning paths at convention to help participants identify sessions and opportunities that align with their professional goals and aspirations.
  • Holding time and space to build supportive networks in resisting supremacist culture at our respective institutions.

Relationship Building & Mentorship

Tuesday, 19 March, 5:00-6:00 pm // Randolph 2

ACPA24 is excited to offer a Networking Connection Point designed as a primary networking opportunity during the convention experience. This time is intended for ACPA attendees to network, learn about current opportunities, and be in community with other attendees with all levels of experience. The ultimate goal of the meetup is to provide a designated space where attendees can network with one another. While this will not serve as a job placement event, there may be hiring organizations and members seeking positions in attendance. Whether you have a specific search or job posting, or you are looking to be in a space for mentorship or support, join us for a career-oriented relationship-building session:
