Placement Registration Methods

Online Candidates and Employers are strongly encouraged to register online using the myPlacement system Registration begins November 15, 2007. Registration forms and payment must be postmarked or received by 11:59 pm EST on the stated deadline.

Fax - Candidates and Employers can fax the registration form along with credit card payment to (518) 454-2110. All faxes with payment must be received by 11:59 pm EST on February 28, 2008.

Mail - Registration forms and payment must be postmarked or received by 11:59 pm EST on February 28, 2008. Candidates and Employers can mail in registration form with credit card or check to:

Placement Registration Policies

Refunds - Due to the nature of the service provided, no refunds will be offered once a candidate or employer submits their registration materials to placement whether online, via fax or via mail.

Registration for Convention - Registration for the convention is required to participate in placement. Candidates not registered for the convention will be locked out of the on-line placement system if they are not registered, and paid, for the convention by February 28, 2008.

Declined Credit Cards and Returned Checks - ACPA reserves the right to charge a $20 fee for returned checks. Additionally, ACPA reserves the right to charge a candidate or employer a handling fee of $10 for declined credit cards.

Interview Area Displays - No free standing displays are permitted. All items must fit on the interview table purchased by the employer.

myPlacement System Shut Down - Last day to access the online system is May 2, 2008. Employers and candidates should print any information they need prior to May 2, 2008.

Cancellation of Placement Registration - February 28, 2008 - Candidates not registered for the convention will be locked out of the placement system if they are not registered for the convention by this date and will remain locked out until Convention Registration and payment have been received and processed. Placement fees are not refundable.

Change or Reinstatement Fee - $ 25 - Candidates and employers must be registered for convention by February 28, 2008 in order to avoid additional fees. This change fee will be charged for candidates to be reinstated if locked out for non-registration.

Credit Card Changes - Employers or Candidates wishing to change the credit card that has already been charged for their registration will be charged an additional $ 10 to cover the credit card fees.
