1. World of Coca-Cola - Family Fun
   Kids love Coke, and at the World of Coca-Cola will allow kids and kids at heart to sample Coca-Cola formulas from around the world. It's amazing how different the soda can taste from one country to the next. In 2007, the World of Coca-Cola moved to its new, expanded home adjacent to the Georgia Aquarium.
2. Centennial Olympic Park - Family Fun
   Those fountains- you can't keep the children away from them! Centennial Olympic Park hosts many great family-friendly shows all year long.
3. Imagine It! The Children's Museum of Atlanta - Family Fun
   The premier children's museum in Atlanta, this impressive facility hosts special traveling exhibits designed just for kids. Most are hands-on, interactive exhibits that feature popular children's characters.
4. Georgia Aquarium - Family Fun
   The Georgia Aquarium may well become Atlanta's premier family attraction. While all of the fish displays will intrigue youngsters, there are specific areas designed just for kids that will make them want to return again and again. Also, the Georgia Aquarium has an ambitious education program that will be coordinated with schools around the state.
5. CNN Center
   Television news is something we take for granted, but it's interesting to get a "behind the scenes" peek at the frenzied world of television journalism with the CNN Studio tour. Pre-teens and teenagers can gain insight into the world of broadcast journalism, and decide if it is a career they are interested in pursuing. Reservations are highly recommended for the tour.
6. Atlanta Botanical Garden - Family Fun
   The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a beautiful exhibit of nature's glory, right in the heart of the city. A walk through the garden is a great stress reliever. There are always special events going on, including unique flowers, summer concerts, romantic jazz nights, and children's activities.
7. Turner Field - Family Fun
   Turner Field is a state-of-the-art sports facility, and the Atlanta Braves have an interesting history, so the tour of Turner Field is a must for any baseball fan. Get a chance to see the press box, the clubhouse, the dugout, a luxury suite, and the broadcast booth. Don't miss the Braves Museum and Hall of Fame.
8. Auburn Street
   Self proclaimed as the, "The greatest street on the planet," Auburn Street has been the cultural center of African American citizens of Atlanta for decades.
9. The King Center - Family Fun
   The King Center is educational and inspirational for the whole family, especially teenagers and other young people looking for guidance or a path in life. There are many interactive exhibits that illustrate the beloved community that Martin Luther King Jr. envisioned and how that dream can still become a reality.

3. Underground Atlanta
   Some people think the Underground is a tourist trap, but the below street level shopping mall and entertainment facility is undergoing a makeover, which the city hopes will turn the Underground into a world-class entertainment district. In the meantime, this is the place to buy your Atlanta souvenirs. There are also festivals that go on during the spring and summer months.
4. Margaret Mitchell House
   For literary lovers and Gone With the Wind fans, this attraction can't be missed. The house where author Margaret Mitchell resided now houses memorabilia from the famed author's career, and also serves as a literary center for living Southern authors. Special author readings and creative writing courses are held at the center.
5. The Carter Presidential Center
   Georgia's Jimmy Carter may not have been the country's favorite president, but he certainly has contributed his time, effort and money to worthy causes since his presidency. The Carter Center is a museum, library, and headquarters for former President Carter's social democracy programs.
6. The William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum
   The Jewish Heritage Museum tells the unique story of Jews in Atlanta from 1845 to the present through art and artifacts. They depict members of the Jewish community at prayer, home, work and play.
